Incident-Response Management for Railways

The objective is to reduce the occurrence of incidents and emergencies and their subsequent damages to persons and material. In order to be able to do that, we need to gather information, synthesize it and help making a decision.

We must create situation awareness to the operator in order to take proactive response in real time and coordinate chain of decisions / interactions between operational people and other stakeholders.

Is a computer database system designed to support operators during railway incidents and emergencies by giving them detailed, real-time information, allowing them to graphically integrate it and then transmit their decisions through the chain of incident commands. In other words IRM gathers information, synthesizes it and helps making a decision.

 

The solution integrates all external systems into one in order to provide clearer picture of the situation. Incident management enables real time event-handling by the operator and gives him guidance through each procedure.
